बंगळुरू : कर्नाटक उच्च न्यायालयाने हिजाब वादात कॅम्पस फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया (सीएफआय) च्या भूमिकेबद्दल राज्य सरकारकडून संपूर्ण माहिती मागवली आहे. सीएफआयच्या काही विद्यार्थिनींनी हिजाबचे हे प्रकरण सुरू केल्याचे सरकारी महाविद्यालयाच्या वतीने ज्येष्ठ वकील एसएस नागानंद यांनी न्यायालयाला सांगितल्यानंतर उच्च न्यायालयाने हा आदेश दिला आहे(The sensational claim that there is a radical organization behind the hijab controversy; Information sought by the High Court).

सहा मुलींनी हिजाब परिधान करून वर्गात जाण्यासाठी महाविद्यालयाच्या प्राचार्याची परवानगी मागितल्यानंतर उडुपी येथे आयोजित सीएफआयच्या पत्रकार परिषदेत हजेरी लावली होती. प्राचार्यांच्या बाजू मांडणाऱ्या वकिलांनी सांगितले की, मुलींनी कॉलेज कॅम्पसमध्ये हिजाब परिधान केला होता, परंतु वर्गात गेल्यानंतर त्यांनी तो काढला होता.

हिजाब घालणे किंवा न घालण्याबाबत संस्थेमध्ये कोणतेही नियम करण्यात आले नव्हते. परंतु गेल्या 35 वर्षांपासून वर्गात कोणीही हिजाब परिधान करत नव्हते. ज्या विद्यार्थिनींनी यासाठी मागणी केली आहे, त्या बाहेरील संस्थेशी संबंधित असून त्यांच्या सांगण्यावरूनच ही मागणी करण्यात आली आहे. संघटनेची संपूर्ण माहिती राज्याकडे आहे का, असे सरन्यायाधीश म्हणाले. इंटेलिजन्स ब्युरोलाही वकील काय म्हणत आहेत, याचे भान ठेवायला हवे.
